At Salem there is a place for everyone. Whether you are five or ninety five, we want you to be a part of our growing church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Salem Covenant Church.


Small groups are an integral part of the Christian Community at Salem. We call them GRACE Groups. The mission of our GRACE Groups is Growth, Renewal, Accountability, Community and Encouragement. We have a number of GRACE groups meeting on an ongoing basis. To find out how you can get connected through a GRACE Group, just contact the Salem Church office.
GRACE Groups begin in September and will follow the Sunday series on Romans.
Sunday, 12:00 PM – Led by Cindy Freeberg. Meets in the Salem gym twice a month.
Sunday, 5:00 PM – Led by Dave Johnson. Meets at Salem.
Sunday, 5:30 PM – Led by Alan and Shari Van Loon. Meets at Van Loons’ house
Monday, 7:00 PM – led by Jim Johnson. Meets at Salem.
Tuesday, 6:00 PM – led by Rich & Sue Borg. Meets at Borgs’ house: 5831 Ratika Rd.
Wednesday, 6:00 PM – led by Dave Johnson. Meets at Salem.
Wednesday, 6:00 PM – led by Pastor Steven Osborne. Meets at Salem.
Wednesday, 6:15 PM – led by Peg Johnson. Meets at Salem. Women only!
Thursday, 1:00 PM – led by Cindy Bourn. Ages 55+. Meets at Salem.
Friday, 6:00 PM – led by Citori Brown. Meets at Salem. High School students only!

Men’s Fraternity

The Men of Salem meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 AM in the TEXT room for coffee, treats, fellowship, and biblical discussion. All men are welcome!

SAGE Senior Ministry

SAGE Senior GRACE Group meets Thursdays at 1:00 PM at Salem, September through May. At SAGE you will meet a community of believers who study the written word of God. Come join us for a cup of coffee, a time of Bible study and valuable fellowships.

TEXT Student Ministry

For students 7-12 grade & College. TEXT meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM.
TEXT stands for Training and Equipping eXtraordinary Teens, with the purpose of leading young people to Christ and training them to use their gifts and talents in youth ministry. TEXT isn’t just another cool activity to add to a busy schedule. It’s a place for students to build deep friendships, experience God personally and be equipped for the work of ministry.


For children age three years to 6th grade.
Meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM, September through May.
The Wednesday night kids program is designed to help kids clearly and consistently communicate the good news of Christ and His plan for their lives, as expressed in the Bible. Each week, your child will build biblical foundations that will help them follow Christ through adulthood.

For children ages four years to 2nd grade and 3rd grade to 6th grade.
Kids’ Quest meets during Sunday worship, September through May.
Sunday mornings, children get to participate in their own classes where they can sing and praise the Lord. Our friendly Kids’ Quest volunteers teach Bible lessons through fun crafts, games, and object lessons so that the children can know the Lord better and hopefully someday come into a personal relationship with Jesus.

Spiritual Gifts Assessment
