Get ready for Salem’s unique spin on Vacation Bible School! This elective-based camp teaches kids spiritual lessons and practical life skills while offering loads of fun.

Open to kids from 3 years old to those just finished with 6th grade.

As we start a new ministry year, please join us to hear what ministries at Salem have done in the past year and help plan the coming year! The meeting will include voting on membership changes, electing leadership, and hearing ministry reports. Anyone may attend, but only Salem members may vote.

There will be no Sunday services at Salem on the 28th. Please come to the joint service at Camp at 10:00.

Any meals (besides Saturday dinner) and staying overnight require registration with Camp.

We are looking for people to make frozen meals that can be dropped off at Salem. The meals will be distributed as needed by New Hope for Families to foster families that we serve and support!

Instructions:

• Fully fill 9x13 disposable pans. Desserts and side dishes can be in smaller pans.
• Each meal should feed at least 6 people.
• Can be made fully cooked or uncooked. Cooked meals should be wrapped in at least two layers of aluminum foil.
• Fill out the prepared label and drop them off at Salem on Sunday or during office hours prior to the pickup day. Labels can be downloaded below or picked up at the Next Steps Station.

• Tater tot hotdish
• Mac & cheese, veggies
• Meatloaf and veggies
• Scalloped potatoes and ham

• Cheeseburger hamburger helper
• Sloppy joe meat, buns, side dish

Let’s go hiking! Salem Covenant Church invites you to enjoy a piece of God’s creation every second Saturday of the month. Everyone wanting to take part can meet at the listed location at 10:00 AM, and you may hike as little or as much as you like. The trails chosen are suitable for most ages and abilities. Any individuals willing to and/or interested in carpooling should meet at Salem Covenant at least 5 minutes before the suggested leave time to allow carpoolers to reorganize and get back on the road. We ask that you come prepared and leave pets at home.

The whole community is invited to a free dinner and party in the parking lot! More details will be available soon.
